At the Canadian Postcode Lottery Foundation we are dedicated to contribute to a better world. With almost 1,500 colleagues working for the Postcode Lottery Group we are striving to raise as much funds for good causes as possible.
The board of the Canadian Postcode Lottery Foundation
The foundation's board currently consists of three directors who have years of experience in business and the charitable sector. It is a mix of experienced professionals from Canada and Europe. We look forward to helping many organizations in Ontario.
Mary Ann MacKenzie
Director and Chair
Mary Ann MacKenzie is the Chief Client Experience Officer at CIBC Mellon in Toronto, a joint venture between the Bank of New York Mellon and CIBC. With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Mary Ann brings a wealth of insight and leadership. In addition to her corporate responsibilities, Mary Ann is deeply committed to community engagement and philanthropy. She serves as a Director on the Special Olympics Foundation Board and the Nice Place Foundation. Mary Ann was born in Thunder Bay Ontario but lives in the Toronto area with her husband and two daughters nearby.
Helena Thybell
Director
Helena holds a bachelor's degree in social science from Lund University and has pursued additional studies in leadership, sustainability, and strategic development. She is currently the Executive Director of the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI), an independent foundation working to strengthen global water governance. From 2019 to 2023, Helena served as CEO of Save the Children Sweden, leading major organizational transformation and global strategy work. Previously, she held a global leadership role in HR and People & Culture at H&M Group and led the H&M Foundation, focusing on social innovation and systems change.
Michiel Verboven
Director
Michiel is a Member of the Executive Board and Chief Commercial Officer of the Postcode Lottery Group. An experienced marketeer, Michiel shapes and leads the use of technology, data, sales and marketing intelligence and insights to drive long-term growth. Michiel also plays a key role in strengthening alignment across the Postcode Lottery Group and the five countries where Postcode Lotteries currently operate.

Postcode Lottery Group Executive Board
Our executive board is responsible for the daily management of the Postcode Lottery Group and its affiliated companies. Our board members are Imme Rog (CMO), Michiel Verboven (CCO) and Sigrid van Aken (CEO).
