Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping our world, becoming a powerful tool that is here to stay.
More than 100 Ontario charitable organizations came together for an insightful online session to explore AI’s potential for creating content more efficiently and creatively.
Practical tips and examples
The session, the third in a series of educational and inspiring sessions hosted by the Canadian Postcode Lottery Foundation and the Ontario Charitable Gaming Association (OCGA), provided practical tips and real-world examples to help charities of all sizes use generative AI in a thoughtful and effective way.
AI specialists and creatives, David Kokke and Lara Bakema from the Postcode Lottery Group, led the discussion on how AI can benefit organizations, big and small, enhance productivity and spark creativity — while navigating the ethical considerations and risks involved in using AI tools.
Adopting AI into working practices
OCGA's Richard Schwar says: “This webinar highlighted the potential of AI as a productivity and content creation tool. It’s inspiring to see how responsible AI use can make a real difference, enabling charities to do more with less, regardless of size. I hope many of our member organizations now feel confident in adopting AI into their working practices."
Judith Lingeman of the Canadian Postcode Lottery Foundation, added: “We’re proud to support Ontario’s charities by strengthening their capacity through relevant education sessions like this one. It’s part of our broader mission to make a positive impact in Canada.”
